The HS Grup 50 × 50 mm split-core current transformer is designed for current measurement and energy monitoring. Its 50 × 50 mm rectangular opening fits around suitably sized cables or busbars. The split-core design allows installation in existing systems without removing the conductor.
The transformer converts the AC current flowing through the primary conductor into a secondary signal for compatible measuring equipment. For use with meters, energy analyzers, and monitoring systems, the current ratio, secondary output, accuracy class, and burden should be selected to suit the application.
